Jeff Wight

Jeff was a uniquely talented and innovative colleague who was an integral part of the productivity and spirit of the Materials Research Center family for 26 years. His willingness to help solve any problem and develop novel solutions will be greatly missed and impossible to replace. Among Jeff’s many and varied contributions to MRC was development, maintenance, and sustainment of the computer capabilities, providing auger electron spectroscopy and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy surface chemical analysis, troubleshooting electronic and vacuum equipment problems, and assisting staff, students, and faculty at Missouri S&T whenever possible. Jeff’s legacy of outstanding service, dedication, friendship, and contribution lives as an inspiration to us all.
